The Inclusive Network operates under the leadership and guidance of a Core Group. The Core Group is made up of 6 founding members.
Shudarson Subedi is a prominent advocate for inclusive education and disability rights. He has led efforts to integrate children with disabilities into mainstream schools, working closely with educators and policymakers. His expertise includes designing inclusive programs and raising awareness on disability inclusion.
Rita Tisdall brings over 30 years of expertise in development and inclusion, serving as a key advisor within the network. Her guidance helps shape policies and initiatives that ensure equal opportunities and support for all, particularly for marginalized and underserved communitiesv
Ram Chandra Paudel is a highly skilled professional process facilitator/trainer with extensive experience in the national and international arena. He has decades of experience working as teacher/head teacher, CSO manager and facilitator closely with and building the capacities of various institutions within the Civil Society Organization, government, public, private sector with a key focus on inclusion, justice, human development, community development, as well as multicultural/gender issues.
Samjyor Lama has over 15 years of experience in the field of child protection. In 2009, Samjyor started his career in child protection as a field assistant at the Nepali NGO, The Himalayan Innovative Society (THIS). In 2024, Samjyor became THIS’s project director, where he led child protection, anti-trafficking, rehabilitation, and youth empowerment projects. He also worked as a technical advisor for NGN on the drafting of NGN-THIS’s “Reintegration Guidelines for Trafficked and Displaced Children,” which was launched in 2015. In 2016, Samjyor became NGN’s first Nepalese Country Director. Samjyor led NGN’s anti-trafficking projects in Nepal for about eight years, where he worked with multiple local partners and international child protection agencies and embassies. Samjyor represented Nepal at a prestigious European Union anti-trafficking roundtable in Brussels in 2017 to represent Nepal. Throughout his career, Samjyor has worked in different capacities on behalf of children in Nepal—from serving as a junior field officer to holding a senior management position.
The Inclusive Network is highlighting the 2019 United Nations Resolution, which reaffirms key international agreements: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989), and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2008). This resolution places special emphasis on children who are without, or at risk of losing, parental care.
