Established on 24 March 2014 Disability Human Rights Promotion Society (DHRPS) is a non-government organization (NGO). Legally registered in the District Administration Office and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council, DHRPS is a non-profit and non-political civil society organization run by youth with disabilities. It is also affiliated with the National Federation of the Disabled – Nepal (NFD-N).
DHRPS has chosen human rights as the core area of work and it has been contributing to the promotion of equal access for persons with disabilities to the realization of rights enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and various other national and international human rights laws and instruments.
