RCRD is a national resources center on disability issues promoting and ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities through community-based inclusive rehabilitation and inclusive education in Nepal. RCRD envisions a society where every person with disabilities enjoys rehabilitation services, facilities and opportunities and human rights equally as other citizens without any discrimination and participates fully in the community.  

RCRD’s mission is to take a lead role effectively to ensure the rights to community-based rehabilitation, development, inclusive education and empowerment of persons with disability. RCRD is also working towards developing sustainable partnerships and collaboration with nongovernmental organizations, DPOs, and Government authorities to ensure disability-inclusive rehabilitation and development, inclusive education and create reliable data and information on disability issues.
